"This riad was a complete gem within the Medina! The staff was over the top wonderful (shoutout to Said who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome). The included breakfast is wonderful, the location is great because it is slightly more quiet while still being right in the middle of things. Highly recommend."

"The kitchen and breakfast staff were awesome especially Abderazak, the cleaning staff was lovely. However, there was no Toothpaste in the room, no body wash, only hand wash. There was also no robe for the pool as well as no first aid box as someone in the group was ill over night and the front desk said there wasn't any first aid box. The breakfast had birds and that wasn't sanitary. "

"We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Morocco (both booked in advance). The first time we had paid for a room a day earlier than our arrival so we would have a place to go immediately, but were disappointed when our room was not ready for us. The second time we stayed we were in a room by the hotel kitchen, which was very loud. When we tried to talk to the front desk about potentially moving to a different room we were blown off. Also to note, smoking is allowed on the balconies directly...

"Great staff at the desk and at the bar. A taxi ride away from the center of the city, but taxis are plentiful and cheap. Great atmosphere, and lovely pool (which closes oddly early, though)."

"We loved our stay from the moment we arrived. You're greeted at the gate, bags carried for you! They learn your names and room number pretty quickly so don't need to keep checking when you're booking a taxi or booking dinner etc. All the staff are so lovely. Breakfast by the pool each morning is great. Fresh fruit, eggs how you want them etc. Special shout out to Youseff who is so smiley and friendly. The staff here really are so ready to help you or offer you something before you need to ask....

"I enjoyed my stay at Riad Lai Ou Lik very much. The owner and the staff made my stay extra special. Marrakech is a busy city so it’s nice to settle in to a clean, quiet, and comfortable room after a day full of activities. The pool was a perfect place to soak after hiking and long walks. The breakfast is the best I had in Morocco. I highly recommend staying at this special Riad. "

"L’hôtel est clairement vieillissant et ne correspond pas au standing attendu. Malgré plusieurs demandes formulées auprès du service clientèle, rien n’a réellement été pris en compte. Seul point positif : les femmes de ménage, qui ont été adorables et professionnelles. En revanche, le reste du personnel s’est montré peu aimable, peu attentif et parfois désagréable. Une expérience globalement décevante."

"Väldigt trevlig glamping där ”tälten” är fristående hus med luftkonditionering, badrum och terrass. Poolen var inte värmd (alltså för kall för december), men väldigt fint att sitta i solen och titta mot Atlasbergen. Maten i restaurangen var fantastisk och prisvärd och personalen var väldigt vänlig och hjälpsam. Vi körde också buggy i öknen med en kunnig guide som gav oss lagom utmaning. Man kunde också köra quadbike och rida kamel. Överlag seriöst och professionellt intryck. "
