While it wasn’t exactly what we expected, our stay was excellent. We didn’t realize that the Riad was down a narrow alley, and several streets from the limits of where cars could navigate. Because of that, we did not stay out late, and tried to get back to our room before nightfall. Nevertheless, the location was convenient to many places, and the helpfulness and cordiality of the property manager, Ibrahim, made up for any shortcomings of the property. Upon arrival Ibrahim immediately put us at ease by giving us an orientation to the city, downloading a map that works in Marrakesh, and designating on the map points of interest and restaurants. What’s the new map on my phone all I had to do was follow the arrows and we got to where we wanted to be. He also helped me when I couldn’t get the train tickets to Casablanca that I had reserved in advance. He located a travel agent that was able to get me the train tickets that I needed on the spot. He also communicated for us with the operators of the day trips that we reserved, and adjusted the breakfast times to accommodate the Tour pick up times. He was incredibly helpful.
