I loved the pre-arrival phone call with instructions, the friendly staff and the easy check-out process. Located walking distance from the Canberra Centre and the main food street in Canberra. "I obviously checked in on a bad day, the first room we had was dirty, the second room we had not been cleaned accepted the bed was made. Informed reception staff that the toilet seat was up and had faeces in the toilet.The shower screen was dirty, the bins were full and the kitchen sink had coffee in it. "Property was in a good location close to restaurant and bars etc. Room wasn’t the cleanest, family of 4 shared one bathroom due to cleanness of ensuite in main. Stained toilet seat, thick black hairs in shower. Had to remove shower cap from broken smoke detector in Kitchen?? Maybe should have been worn in shower? Stained carpets, dirty and marked walls etc. Would stay in same area but at different hotel next time."
