"Rooms are small but cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, and they started it an hour early on Boston Marathon day. Staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. I hope to run Boston again, and I'll plan to stay at the Irving."

"I was only there for one night so everything was okay to me."

"We liked the hotel but it is a little different from what we are used to. A little industrial verses warm and cozy. Staff were great and continental breakfast was typical items and good. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. My issue is the bathroom. No counter space or cabinets to put anything on and my biggest issue was the water pressure. It wasn’t good. Overall it was a good stay but not necessarily one we would go back to. "

"Yes the mini-Queen room is small but it’s SO efficient! There’s even a Keurig. The bed was very comfy - it’s one of those with deep mattresses so at 5’ tall I needed a stool to climb into bed. But they have stools. The staff was fun, friendly, remembered us every time we passed through the lobby. Caffe Nero next door is a great coffee shop. YUME noodles across the street is great."
