"Not a good area. Homeless and prostitution outside the area. The room had roaches. The mattress had springs sticking out. Room was supposed to have a microwave but there was none. We had to move from the room but it was not much better. Our 10 year old was bitten in the face by a bug in the room. The room smelled like cigarettes and muggy. Will not stay there ever again."

"This was a surprisingly positive experience. For a 2 star rated motel in a rather uninviting area it was very clean and well appointed. All aspects of the room were positive. Breakfast offerings were also surprisingly completed for a standard “breakfast included” option. Would definitely recommend to travelers passing through the San Diego area Location isn’t optimal for staying and seeing the sights as it’s a distance from everything "

"The tub was clogged and we couldn't shower and had to kill a cockroach in the middle of the night. We couldn't change rooms because they were sold out. Breakfast the next morning was lacking, no yogurt or waffles and mostly bread ends were left."

"I am writing to provide feedback regarding our recent one-night stay during a college visit. We arrived late in San Diego and unfortunately encountered several issues with our room. Upon entering, we immediately noticed a very strong musty, moldy odor. While the room appeared clean, the bathroom was not stocked with shampoo or conditioner. The situation worsened when we turned on the air conditioning; the mold smell intensified significantly, and the unit itself appeared as though it had not been cleaned for a long time. Within an hour of being in the room, I experienced an allergic reaction resulting in an itchy throat and sneezing. Due to these conditions, I would not choose to stay at this property again without first inspecting the room to ensure it is in better condition."
