While the second room was better, the bathroom had a heavy, deep-seated cigarette smoke odor that ultimately gave me a headache. "If your trying to save some money, there aren't maybe places that put on as good a show. The hotel is classicly dated. Tucked away just off some forever road construction in Stroudsburg PA. Minutes from main street (Gamers Edge )and the Pocono Cinema and Cultural Center (Great ice Cream and movie treats) The area has great diners within 15min but for the most part you'll have to hit main street for any night life as Stroudsburg is on Small town time. "Very cute boutique hotel! Still has a lot of original charm. It’s definitely an older building but was very comfortable. Light complementary breakfast was provided the following morning which included donuts from the local donut shop."

"We stayed for only one night. Our experience was top notch. This is a great old hotel with an 1800’s vibe, but impeccably restored. Rooms are clean, well appointed and the staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Bill at the front desk. It’s right in the center of the action in town. The restaurant was also great, good food and good value."
