I hesitated about the tunnels at Needles Highway but with her warm assurance, I drove one of the memorable drives in Custer State Park. Needles Eye wasn't as narrow as I thought. "The bed was comfortable and the room was clean mostly. The whole hotel could use some extra detail cleaning. I don't think under the microwave has been cleaned in months!! Behind the bathroom door was equally gross. The curtains were NOT thick and the second the sun came up the room was bright. And there were at least a dozen holes in the curtain.
