Took us a few attempts to get into the hotel from the carpark as the door latch seem to catch a little. Room was clean and well appointed with a comfy bed. "It was lovely accommodation. Really nice location. A little tricky checking in because they hadn't received the email from expedia yet. The couch is used as a pull out bed which is fine but very uncomfortable for sitting on. That is the only complaint, which we did mention to them as well."

"I think the room we stayed was below the house where the owners of the accommodation live. The room and shared space look good and the shower was enjoyable. There's no parking available on the driveway, parking is further down the hill on the street."

"Small but stylish hotel a short distance from the centre of Dunedin. Free hotel parking was a real bonus. We had a queen room which had views out over the city. The room was well equipped and nicely furnished. The included breakfast was outstanding; freshly cooked to order. Anabel was a very welcoming host and her dog, Lola, a delight."

"Parking was really good - easy access to room etc. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Convenient location to the shops in Mosgiel. The only observation i would make is that there is nowhere in the bathroom to stack your clean cloths when you have a shower. They could have done with a simple towel/cloths rack of even a little table. Regardless we had a lovely stay thank you"

Instead of cancelling the booking from their end the host messaged me on trivago, since I was expecting a message anyway for the login code, and you have to login to read messages I left it. Host also alerted trivago it was double booked, who did not contact me either. Drove all the way to Dunedin with 2 kids, stranded and nowhere to stay. Spent $400 to stay at scenic circle for the first night, Dunedin was booked out for the second night so we had to drive...

"The property was lovely, only down fall was the fact it was single glazed and the road noise was quite loud at times."

"This is a wonderful hotel but was very disappointed with the staff on check in. We arrived after 2pm, check in was 2pm, and the room wasn't ready. We sat in the foyer for almost an hour then when I approached the Duty Manager he me told the room had been ready for awhile. Clearly they hadn't noted that I was sitting in the foyer with a person in a wheelchair and approached us to say that the room was ready. Secondly in order to eat at the in-house restaurant we were made to go out in the cold...
