"Clean room, but nothing fancy. Smelled like tea tree oil when we entered so we assumed it was an effort to deter ticks since the property is on the river surrounded by forest. Bears 🐻 are common in the parking lot so keep food out of your vehicle. At the end of the strip so walking is a hike, but free trolley 🚎 service helped. Saw a very shady person in black on a corner without light walking back to the hotel at night. Definitely had a bad vibe and was on high alert, but overall family...

"The property was very convenient to the main drag in Gatlinburg. Very clean and well maintained. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. The only dislike I had was it took a long time for the water to get hot enough for a shower. It came out lukewarm pretty quickly but took a while to get really warm."

"We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel & Conference Center from July 2nd–5th for the famous 4th of July Midnight Parade and fireworks. We visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge several times a year, and this was our first stay here. Unfortunately, it will also be our last. I'll start with the positives. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance of all the attractions in downtown Gatlinburg, which made getting around very convenient. "Clean and maintained well. Pool was small but the slide was nice. Breakfast was minimal and insufficient seating. Breakfast needed more staff to assist to keep up with volume of guests."
