"Beautiful room right on the river. Slept with the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the river.
Basic room - Very clean, modern room. Will definitely return, especially in the winter when it snows. If you come in the summer, bring an inner tube to cruise down the lake.
Highly recommend for a basic, inexpensive alternative to South Lake, which is only 30 min away."

"Loved the location! It was right across from the lake! The hotel was okay, no frills but the rooms were very clean! The property itself is old and could use a little TLC.

"Pros: We like the room layout with a separate sitting area that has a day bed. It was a comfortable room, very comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: bathroom door squeaked loudly- so we left it wide open to avoid waking everyone when using the bathroom at night. The shower floor was quite slippery, we were scared of slipping/falling...we had to be very cautious getting in and out of the shower. Shower edges did not look very clean otherwise everything else was clean.

It doesn’t say where we should check in and the front desk doesn’t pick up the phone when I called. It just give me the time and hour of operation and phone number. "Cozy and beautiful cabin. You will really need to have a suv or any high clearance car to park in the driveway due to the steepiness of the driveway(included in the instructions.)
No air conditioning except for masters bedroom. Might be better to have portable AC in all rooms during summer. Most of of us, unable to sleep because it was hot when we went. 90s weather.
