"Nice pools though much smaller then they look on the site and crowded as it is a health club too - hard to actually swim at all. The rooms were hit with no air con, no fan in the bathroom, and our room was on ground floor near the pool sbc we slept terribly with all the noise of people shd slamming door till late and then early again. The food in the brasserie was good however and staff very friendly."

"No instructions in the room on how to operate anything. Shower: insufficient grab handles for old fogies to safely get out. A non slip mat was available from reception. This information was on the very back of the shower. Found by chance. No information on how to switch the electric towel rail off."

The location was absolutely perfect, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore the area. On top of that, having hassle-free onsite parking made our trip so much smoother. "All the staff were happy, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room had a fantastic view over Lynmouth and sea. Everything was spotlessly clean. Food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner. Friendly, lively atmosphere. We only intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying 5."
