"Very nice"

"About what you’d expect from a motel style stay. Older building but rooms are kept clean and somewhat updated with that old familiar motel room smell. Staff was pleasant and eager to help. Parking was plentiful with the ability to park outside of your room. I didn’t use the pool or attend the free breakfast. "

"The suite was very spacious and clean. Very convenient location to dining and shopping. Quiet during the evening hours too. Loved the tiki bar with live music in the evening."

"There was black mold in the bathroom and the shower floor looked filthy. I was assured that it was clean, that magic erasers were used to clean them and it had just worn off coating making them look like that. I’m not convinced. The sink was slow to drain. The clothes dryer didn’t work. My son and his family also had a room here and theirs was worse. Staff wouldn’t even look at their complaints (hair in shower, urine, blood and feces in bathroom). Prior to reserving a room they were told that...

"Nice place to stay"

"There is a coffee and ice cream shop next-door. Did not use the amenities at all nor did I look at them. The rooms do need updating but would not keep me from staying there again as it is a reasonable priced property. The front desk staff is amazing! So helpful! You get a parking pass or downtown for your car which is great! "

"I had to find some place to go for a few hours . The property lost power and I was told the lights would be back on at 11pm . No accommodations were offered. The lights came on after midnight "

"Our room had seemingly been updated … partially. New window coverings (shades) but old valance was evident (not painted). Stand-alone dehumidifier in the room seemed odd- and was quite loud. We stayed here a year ago, and while the room was much better this year, it was still quite expensive for a Days Inn. But - it’s the only real option in Port Charlotte…"

"Rooms were great. Clean and comfortable. Could have used some coffee for the coffee maker. There was one small single cup packet. The shower is very narrow but clean and adequate. Staff was terrific "
