"Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable; staff was friendly and helpful BUT one of my complaints is that they have a serious issue with staffing. They had half the bar closed and 80% of the food outlets closed due to staff shortages. A hotel full of people and nowhere to eat. Just the "Earl of Sandwich" outlet was open along with half the bar/restaurant. I was told by the employees that they can't get help. Crazy. Many people had to go into town for dinner or wait until one of the occupied seats opened up if you were lucky. Plenty of security guards standing around though. I'm not sure if I would stay here again due to the restaurant/staffing issues. Parking is another issue because the valet blocks off the close spots and once the free parking fills up (usually by 4pm) then you are forced to circle the lot waiting for an opening or park far away. The room and view was excellent, front desk upgraded me, thank you for that, but I'd probably opt for a place in downtown Murphy next time. Murphy is a great little town."
