"The room was in a beautiful historic building. Partially apartment and partially rented as hotel rooms. Our room was very clean and quiet. We had a late check in. We had to communicate with the property manager and he met us at the apartment upon arrival. Was very communicative the whole time."

However, there were 2 major issues which were not in keeping with a 5* at this price point: 1) there is a huge unattached manhole on the road in front of the hotel which makes a racket every time a car drives over it and keeps you up at night through the night; 2) a horrible drain stench from the toilet / bidet in the rooms. The room is immaculate. Lovely towels refreshed twice a day, the breakfast and evening food is both diverse and delicious.
