"The property was impressive with the room being quite a good spec. Huge windows offered a lovely view of the lake area and the stand up fan offered relief from quite a stuffy evening. "Charming hotel. Every member of staff was delightful. My travelling companion’s room was very pleasant and spacious. My room was extremely small and felt cramped. The bath was extremely slippery, however a slip mat was provided but I think a warning might be a good idea. The food was fabulous. We stayed chatting in the dining room for ages but never once felt hurried. Perfectly placed for visit to Highgrove. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"I had previously contacted the venue to see if it was possible to leave our bags as we needed to attend a wedding before the check in time. Communication as great and the venue allowed us to use the room before the check in time. The room was lovely and really in keeping with the pub/ restaurant. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again. "
