"Lovely little hotel but rather difficult to reach as it only has pedestrian access we had 2 heavy suitcases and I have a severe knee condition so found it difficult"

"Modern facilities well-located in old town. Remarkably proactive and considerate service from Mario, Toni, Ivan etc. wonderful breakfast in the Makarun Restaurant that is associated with the rooms. Would stay there again next time i am in Split. Take advantage of concierge service as the rooms are well hidden. Easier to find restaurant entrance."

"Free parking was the most important benefit of this hotel. The room and the furniture were dated. The restaurant was deserted and we had to order pizza from outside on our arrival night. TV was not operational, no hand soap in the room, no tissue paper in the room, the bathroom vent fan was broken and was extremely load and would stay on long after you turned it off. "The staff were truly amazing, Ante and Jan both were great- they intentionally wanted to make sure everything was great- and that we enjoyed Split- they cared more than any other hotel on our trip- the hotel and Split should be proud of people like them- they made this hotel be 5 stars"

"Good location, walking distance with luggage to the ferries. Close to everything. We had one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the alley, which was nice. Multiple breakfast options, simple but good. 👍"

"Adita and Ivan were very helpful. It is a beautiful boutique hotel inside the palace area. My room was so beautiful , clean and comfortable. The wall in the bathroom was stone, so that was unique. The bathroom was large. The floor in the room was very unique and cool looking. There was also nice wood furniture and wood paneling. Oh and a very cool glass chandelier. I had never seen anything like it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. I was sad to leave."

"This property is located within the walls of Old Town Split. I was unaware that a taxi could not drop me off at the door. I recently had surgery, and needed help with my luggage. The staff made all the arrangements, and provided someone to walk with me to meet my transportation. The staff went way beyond what they had to do to help me!"

"From the greeting when our car dropped us we were blown away by the hospitality and humor of the staff. The hotel is gorgeous, the bar is amazing and the breakfast fantastic. Room was also wonderful. Location is right on the square, perfect for all your destinations. But it’s the hotel staff that made it truly special, Andi, Tea, Andrew the cocktail guy and all the reception folks were funny and just great to be around. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Split!"
