"The staff was very friendly and helped me find the things I was looking for during my stay. The room was great with a very nice balcony. Great shower in the room. The gym was perfect for a quick workout before my event at the Culver Theater. Before I left the staff helped me ship home an item that was too large to carry on the plane. There is a barista at the front lobby and the rooftop restaurant had a very cool vibe. I would stay here again."

"The parking is $42 a day. The hotel was pretty expensive, but probably comparative for the area. The staff in the dining area were very helpful, but there is no food available during the afternoon hours. The only outside food close by was a Ralph’s grocery store. Nothing else is really walkable. Otherwise everything was fine. I would recommend it and would stay there again."

"We loved staying at Olivia Hotel so much! We loved everything about the hotel: the convenient, perfect location, lovely, friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfast, gym, fireplace, coffee machine, bathrobes, filtered water, flowers and scent - everything was perfect! We are from Australia - here there’s always a kettle in hotel rooms though, it might be different in the US. The hotel is almost brand new, it’s just one year old. We also loved the cafe and the view across the street - the wonderful California Temple. We liked the Sprouts farmers’ market nearby and the fact that the hotel is so close to our place of interest in LA. Thank you so much for your hospitality once again! Kind regards, Olena"

"Overall, the location is great (right next to the Expo Line, near to Culver City, and near to the beaches on the West Side). However, we were put in a room that was clearly smoked in previously. At first, I didn't think it was going to be a problem, but after spending a few days in the room all of our things smelled like terrible stale cigarette smoke. In hindsight we should have asked for another room. Breakfast was okay, although there were practically no non-dairy options (except sad dry toast or dry cereal). If you have any dietary restrictions, be advised."
