"The hotel is truly beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. Personally, I find it very noisy. In the rooms, you can constantly hear the people next door and above you. The noise from outside was also really loud. At this price point, I would have expected something different."

"It’s an old, beautiful hotel, very conveniently located. Odd shaped buildings, so odd shaped room - but charming. There is a lot to like. Underground parking next door, and walkable neighborhood. Had a great time. Did get woke up by screaming homeless person early morning, but has nothing to do with the hotel. Also did not observe many homeless while walking around - it’s a safe neighborhood. Will stay again"

"I only ate from the bar menu. It was sparse but I liked the deviled eggs. Had a good cappuccino in the morning. I love the staff. Super friendly and accommodating."

"The room is big enough , clean , bed is comfortable . Parking is easy , close. However , the air vent cover in bathroom is very old , bent , very rusty and has a spiderweb. Vanity sink drains slowly. It takes a long time , close to 4 minutes, for the shower water to get warm enough to get under. I feel guilty wasting water especially in CA ."

"EVEYONE (Omar the manager, Kathy and the rest of the staff) were all wonderfully nice and would go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and pampered. Great amenities and property for the value (considering it’s LA) Definitely recommend!"

"The location is great. There is no elevator to upper floor. Attention details was not good, our shower drain was slow so you were standing in water. The first room had a high pitched noise from the air conditioning so we were moved to a larger room. Only tiny bar of soak, conditioning shampoo and shower gel as amenities . Had to ask for more towels. Rooms on street side a be noisy. Good value but will pass next time."
