"Our stay has been pleasant. The staffs' English proficiency is quite well, at least we are able to communicate well. The environment is very good, quiet and clean. It's located in an area nearing a lot of famous restaurants and shops. The room is also quite big for such a price. I would love to stay here again if I visit Kyoto next time."

"Super useful to have laundry inside the room. Spacious bed + walkable areas in the room, and the whole hotel has a chic retro vibe. The lobby, like most small Japanese hotels, is minimally sized but has free drinks and a small dining area for hotel guests. Front desk is super helpful with local recommendations, booking restaurants, transportation, etc. and they are always friendly as if they own the place. It's conveniently located near a train station (Karasuma Oike). Perfect for families...

The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. "Very nice and clean rooms and the staff was amazing, helping with luggage services and warning about incoming bad weather and recommendations for things to do on those days. The attached restaurant had amazing coffee and great breakfast for the days when I didn’t want to think about where to eat in the morning.
