"The staff were amazing, attentive, polite and just wonderful. The room was clean, comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom and shower was great. And refreshing, especially since NYC was having a heat wave. Reception provided bottles or water, complimentary. The bar was fun, and service and food delicious. We had breakfast each morning and it was amazing. You must try the multigrain bread. Fabulous! Overall 5/5 and we will gladly stay here again on our next NYC trip."

"Great location - if you like midtown you’ll love this location. The staff was friendly, helpful, offering to send water up and helped us locate a private car to airport (which was $20 cheaper than an Uber). The room was well maintained and they replaced towels daily, great overall housekeeping. I ate at the restaurant when we arrived late one night and it was better than expected. Overall would stay again."

"Rooms are smaller than you might think judging by pictures (story as old as time) but everything was nice and clean. $20 credit to the rock shop was nice but they only had a few sizes left in almost all of their branded t shirts so I wasn’t able to get one."

The housekeeping could use some help but otherwise it was an overall great stay. Everyone from the reception to the valet/bell were very friendly. The valet arranged for a yellow cab to pick me up at 4am for my flight which was much better than an Uber pickup so I appreciated that. The rooms were very spacious and...

"Great location in 51st and 7th ave….3 minute walk to Times Square and 10 minute walk to Central Park. Right in the Theater District as well. Kendrick at the main desk was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was very large for NY standards. It was a bit dated, but very comfortable. The only downside to the property was no in room coffee. It was our second stay there, and we would definitely go back. The doorman was also very helpful and pleasant....
