"Great location on a quiet cove on muskoka lake. We stayed at a beachfront cottage. Waterview and steps away from the lake. The ambience was amazing. Watersports (kyaks, paddle boards, canoes) were readily available for use. Suite came with a full size kitchen and gas bbq which allowed us to really maximize our time onsite, though being 10 mins outside of Bracebridge was also covenient for a coffee or dinner out. Beach front was clean and cared for daily. Facility was new, modern and clean. Staff were helpful and courteous. Downside was the pool and hotel by the beach were out of order... had been for weeks, with zero notice leading up to check in. The lake was great but had I known I probably would not have booked at the price I did. There is a pool at the main building but it's a 10 min walk uphill, so not convenient. We also had a couple issues with TVs and appliances. Microwave did not work.. not the end of the world but it meant popcorn was off the table for a movie at night when the bugs come out. TV was missing a remote and the sound kept cutting out on the TV in the living room. Movie nights were a bit of a bust. Overall .. great spot, clean and nice staff however for the price and given the age of the resort I wasn't expecting some of these issues to be present."
