"It is beautifully located hotel on top of a hill, with truly stunning views over the sea (if you have sea view room). The surrounding gardens are lush and very well maintained, adding to the overall atmosphere of the property. The rooms are comfortable and in line with the hotel’s category. However, there were several issues during the stay that affected the experience. "The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "

"Had a great stay for my boyfriends birthday, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the room had a gorgeous view, short walking distance into town, breakfast was lovely, nice that they had parking for guests. There was live music in the restaurant on the first night we were there, we got 20% off eating in the restaurant, the only thing I'd say was that the menu wasn't particularly vegetarian friendly, there was only one option of a pea and mint pasta which was a bit odd! "Check-in quick and easy and staff member polite and welcoming. Room adequate and en-suite modern with good warm shower. Twin beds were quite small to accommodate size of room. Overall okay location to stay for a night or so but no cooked breakfast( continental available) was not ideal. "

"Wayne and Sue were wonderful hosts and the flat was in a convenient serene location with great views! However, the listing on hotels.com says it is an entire home and despite clarifying with their agents they said this is an independent cottage. This is not the first time they mislead us. The accommodation was good and the hosts were great but the details on hotels.com is not accurate. If you are expecting a while cottage you’ll be disappointed. "
