This is a sham of a hotel rooms filthy and in need of a renovation. Apparently this is about to happen Do not book this hotel it’s shocking!!

Positives: The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were immaculate. The shower was a great temperature, albeit on the small size. The view of the bay from my balcony was unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never woken to a better view. The staff were friendly and my luggage was carried to my room. The check in and check out was fuss-free. I believe there is parking available, though I used the long-stay carpark, just opposite. Negatives: the rooms are VERY dated and in need of a LOT of TLC. If you can look beyond this, the hotel is a fantastic place to stay for a reasonable rate. Especially for St Ives. It would be good to see the place brought back to life with a lick of paint.

The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were.

It quite a old building needs more maintenance It’s a bit noisy, our room was close to the main road. Don’t drink tap water Staying for more than a day? Ask for water bottles, it will not be automatically replenished. Parking is a challenge

As stated in other reviews this hotel is in need of an urgent refurb. The worst issue for me personally was how hot the room was even on a breezy day, although there was a fan almost impossible to sleep.

I think the only thing that was clean was the bed. The carpet was completely stained, there were coffee splatters all down the wall, bathroom didn’t look clean, the bath panel was also hanging off. The mould on the walls was making the wallpaper peel off. The floors were very creaky and uneven, each time you walked around it would make the wardrobe move and bash together. There was a large gap under the door to our room, which was covered by a strip of bristles. Such a shame as it is in such a good location, right on the beach

The hotel is situated in a good position to walk into St Ives or beach within minutes. The view was amazing too. Room was comfortable, clean but in need of a revamp. The parking was a massive bonus for St Ives, unable to use lounge areas as had our little dog with us.

Bra läge med fantastisk utsikt, smutsiga mattor i allmänna utrymmen, men bra på rummen. Läget superbt nära stationen men man fick bära väskor upp för branta trappor. Frukost bra. Personalen såg uttråkade ut och inte motiverade att ge bra service.

Fantastic location in the area and great parking facilities which is a real plus. Unfortunately our room - despite having a lovely sea view - had a strong overbearing smell, a very stained carpet and visible mould in the bathroom which was unpleasant.

The property's location was highly advantageous, offering convenient pedestrian access to beachside dining establishments and cultural institutions. However, the building itself is quite aged, and the elevator functionality was inconsistent. Furthermore, the breakfast offerings were rather unremarkable, with limited choices available.

Good location near train station and away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Stunning views, more than made up for out dated decor. Lovely to lie in bed listening to the waves and have an early morning cuppa. Plenty of choice for breakfast and was able to drop my bag off at the hotel on way into town when I arrived and pick up for my train when I left.
