"The rooms were quaint and clean. Although the amenities aren’t flashy and there’s no free breakfast, the kind lady who runs pension was sweet, caring, and attended to our needs. I had a very good room at unbeatable price and I would stay here again a million times. Thank you Pension!"

"The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead."

The japanese breakfast every day was truly memorable, and the coffee shop on the property was beautiful as well. I could not recommend more, 10/10 stay, worth the price! "Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again."
