"I’ve stayed at Ocean Gate Inn several times when visiting my son at UCSC, and the staff has always been kind and professional. One thing I really appreciate is how they go above and beyond — I’ve arrived as late as 1 a.m., and they’ve called to make sure I was still coming, which shows great customer service. "Thank you to the one and only Andrea! She was running the lobby and hotel like if it was family. I really appreciate the attentiveness and the friendliness. Hope she gets a raise or bonus this year, she truly deserves it. We got the room we paid for. Great parking right next to the property, parking is VERY tight on 1st floor. Beautiful view to the boardwalk and beach. Busy street and lively. 4/5 We would stay again! "
