Matamanoa Island Resort

"Having stayed at Tokoriki adult resort in the past, Matamanoa is definitely equal to and potentially better. We had a beach bure with pool and the room and location was amazing. The staff were all wonderful and the food was excellent especially given the remote location. The dive shop we late r found out has restrictions on which sites they can go to which days and they only get told the day of/night before so this makes it difficult as you say yes to five but then end up going to same spot. When we asked about different sites they explained the system, it may be good to proactively share this with people who say they intend to dive regularly. The dive shop also arranged a fishing trip (light tackle) and a trevally was caught which the kitchen cooked up for an amazing dinner. The only thing which would make it perfect is if they allowed helicopter arrivals to really make the most of seeing the beautiful islands. We will return."

"Nice big resort, loads of space, though starting to look a little tired here and there. Staff were fantastic, breakfasts superb, though sadly disappointed in dinners had at restaurants. Best meals were on room service and beach bar menus, not what you’d expect."

"Loved the hotel, but you need to make sure you book your dinner otherwise they won’t let you into the restaurant. The staff there were not as enthusiastic as other places, especially the reception. We had to ask for more towels as we only got 2, even though the booking was for 4. Our room wasn’t cleaned and we had to ask for that to be done. The staff at the restaurant were otherwise good and enthusiastic, but I think I got food poisoning from their buffet."

"The property and accommodations were gorgeous. The food was excellent. Everyone was so friendly. Staff went out of the way to make you feel welcome and ensure the stay was comfortable and memorable. They remembered names, orders, preferences and plans. This place is amazing. 100/10 would recommend."

"Great hotel , it would have been better if they had more pools and more bars. This is a definitely more family oriented and relaxing hotel. Don’t come here if you want a night life. Staff were kind and helpful. And definitely don’t forget to get water bottles and mosquitoes repellent."
Plantation Island Resort

"Plantation Island was a dream to stay at with our small family and our friend's families. Our beachfront motel room was spacious and comfortable and while a top story room may seem better, having the bottom story room made it easy for our preschooler to pop out and find our friends close by as well as be easily supervised with a wide space to play in. The playgrounds and pools were also appreciated and well used by our family. Staff were amazingly hospitable and we adored the easy and complimentary access to kayaks and wide range of food options, although definitely expect to pay resort prices. Lots of fun events and activities on and appreciated all the efforts of Kids Club staff. Curry night at Copra is a highly recommended highlight. Vinaka vakalevu!"
