"The nice pictures from the hotel are setting expectation far from the reality. Basic room, basic bedding, no service at all. Washing machine never available. There is much better option around for similar prices. The bath/onsen at last floor of the building isn't balancing the poor experience at Mitsui hotel. Staff remain super friendly and helpful."

"The room was immaculate. It has everything I need. Laundry is at the 2nd floor which washers that can be paid by coin or through the app. Soap was free. This area is centralized so it is easy to walk around (15 minutes) to samurai district or kenrokuen garden. Bus stop and train station is also walking distance. There are izakayas near the hotel that was also walking distance. Kudos to the staff Tomatsu and the guy I believe his name is Khadil. They were very helpful and kind with me, I will...

"The staff were very kind and helpful. Our rooms looked a bit tired. Could use some touching up. Our fridge did not work.
Loved that the hotel was next to the department store and close to the market place."
