Room was clean, enjoyed the sitting area where I could lay back with a book and relax. The outdoor public bath was a big plus especially during the winter weather.
This hotel was one of my favourite hotel. Room was cozy, nice, tidy and modern.
They had washer and dryer so i could do the laundry.
There's paid vehicle parking at a discounted rate in the multi-storey carpark beside the hotel.
There's a nice small japanese restaurant beside the hotel on the ground floor that sells excellent grilled Saba fish and unagis.
It's a nice walkable distance to the nearby shopping street with alot of food there as well.
My family of 3 loved staying at the Candeo Nagasaki! The rooms were a little small but very efficiently laid out with a fantastic view. The view from the outdoor onsen was beautiful and we used every night. We loved being so close to Chinatown and there were many amazing restaurants within walking distance.
Good place near Chinatown and the port. Public bath on the roof and breakfast were big pluses for this property. Room was fine, ten minutes from the train station by streetcar. About as expected by Candeo standards. Breakfast can be crowded if a tour group in staying at the hotel, they eat at the same time due to their schedule.
Very nice hotel in nice location. Close to China town and local convenient stores. It was a little difficult to pull up and take items out of your car if you are driving, but that’s only bc the road is very narrow leading to the hotel. the parking garage they suggest is very close though. The staff were very friendly and our rooms were nice and clean. Nice onsen area. We would stay again!
Great location. Walking distance to the tram and the Main Street. Parking is a bit confusing, need to use the parking lot next to the hotel, not at the hotel building. Then ask the front desk for a discounted parking tickets for the specific parking lot. Little bit complicated.
Candeo was clean, staff and services were great and super comfortable. Great location adjacent to Chinatown, not too far from Nagasaki train station. Sauna and Onsen-like heated pools on the roof were perfect for starting and/or ending your day. The price was insane! I would have expected to pay much more for the quality.
The Candeo Hotel is the best option if you want to stay near the Chinatown area of Nagasaki. The bus stop is about 3-4 min from the hotel, and you can easily move to other city points.
The staff was kind and helped us during the check-in process. The room was really nice and comfortable, suitable for a three-person group. It might be crowded if you are traveling with huge luggage.
The hot spring was really cool and had an excellent sauna. However, there were few lockers available.

Location, amenities and services were excellent! We loved spa especially. It was very close to the tram station and Chiba town which were very convenient. 1 thing we were surprisingly disappointed was that there were no drawers and real closet. Our room was not that big so it was struggle to open the suitcases to take out or put in our clothes everyday. Bed was firm and very comfortable. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Very new hotel. Lovely staff. Rooms are the best part although I wish the bed had room on both sides to get out (large room with sitting area and fridge!). Breakfast wasn’t very exciting but typical of Japan hotel to try to do everything not so well. But lovely staff and very clean and organized. Spa on top floor was lovely. I looked in but didn’t use it. Very convenient to buses and trams and at the doorstep of China town which is like literally one block. Overall it was nice property and worth staying away from the main train station. Nagasaki wasn’t my favorite city to visit but interesting for sure. Cold weather in January didn’t help of course.
