"Very clean room and bathroom and spacious. Mattresses did not provide much cushion but no big deal. Great location very close to kawaguchiko station and a 15 minute walk from the lake. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Our hostess was extremely helpful and a delight to meet. Excellent amenities with some toiletries and even washing powder supplied. We missed the detail re pick up ( and drop off to Fujisan station). Take the train from Kawaguchiko station to Fujisan station and then the vehicle to Guest House en. Check out local 4 hr tour with Forest Kraft Outdoors. Couldn’t recommend both Guest House en or the tour more highly. Philip A."

"A beautiful property. Traditional Japanese with a boutique feel. Very comfortable and clean. We received a spacious room with 2 beds. The room has a seating area with sofa. Note that the bathroom is shared with others but we never had any problem with availability or location. The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, tea kettle, a few pots and plates as well as a small oven and microwave and fridge. We used the kitchen for small meals. "Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff.
