"Hotel was very full for a wedding and conference
Restaurants close at 9pm
Beach service stops at 4pm
No chairs or service to view sunset
Overall very crowded
Not good for romantic getaway
Kids running in the halls screaming at 730am
Overall for a 1000+ a night plus beach fees i would have expected a better experience
They sell resort daily passes that bring in alot of non guests
Not something i would do again rather stay at a smaller hotel and get away from the kids and the conference...

"We switched our reservation from the 4 Seasons to the Escalante and are so glad we did so. It was walking distance to the town but a completely secluded, hideaway. It was so relaxing, clean and beautiful. We loved the staff and music. We absolutely will return and highly recommend to others!"

"First, the beach here is impeccable and well maintained by this hotel company. The water is a bluish green and very calm and clear. Unlike other resorts, the pictures that I saw before I booked this stay were not photoshopped. We stayed in the beachfront room on the third floor and arrived late at night. When I woke up in the morning and saw the white sand beach and the beautiful ocean, I was blown away.This resort reminded me of a small resort in the Caribbean. You don’t see resorts like this...

"We had a great stay.
Our suite was spacious, bright and clean.
All the staff was very friendly.
It was great to have access to the beach and have chairs and towels provided.
Breakfast was really good, same as the cocktails at the swimming pool."

"Great place for families! My 5 and 8 year old loved the water slides and lazy river. The pool bar was perfect for eating lunch while enjoying water. The only thing I wish I had known is that is VERY crowded on weekends (Fri thru Sun) so get down to the pool early if you want chairs in the shade ...or chairs at all. Also, the beach is beautiful, set up with chairs and unbrellas, but we had to wait a long time in the heat to get the boat back. We only did that one day.
