"Great value for money. 3 rooms on 2nd floor and 1st floor is common area with toliet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator. Traditional Japanese style room. Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof. No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room. Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"substandard setups in kitchen and toilet and bathroom. The recycled, overused mattress is so damned poor that we almost need to consult a spine doctor. We will never recommend our friends for this slaughter house 😔"

The facilities may be a bit dated compared to big brands, but the staff, the food, view and the serene surroundings more than make up the fancy gadgets that might not be available. We look forward to staying at this hotel again."
