"The breakfast was excellent, there was a little confusion with finding parking outside of Wellington Lodge, parking was limited, it was hampered my another hotel resident and thier bad parking. My room in Wellington was comfortable no problems. Staff i met were welcoming and professional."

"A clean well equipped hotel with super helpful staff. We were travelling from Devon to see a show in London so getting back home on same night not possible. This was a third of the cost of london equivalent hotels but far better than most. Plenty of late trains to Basingstoke leaving us closer to home after a sleep in a very comfy bed."

"The staff were very professional and welcoming. There is plenty of free self parking both in front of and behind the hotel. The room and bathroom were clean. My room had a microwave & fridge with plates & cutlery as well as a kettle with tea & coffee. I would recommend this hotel & if in the area I will use it again."

"Just had a two night stay here for the landrover fest and almost everything was great. The house keeping staff kept all areas clean and tidy and the room was no exception. Air conditioning was a must have in 30° temperatures which enabled a decent sleep on the comfortable beds. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly as were the restaurant staff also. Star of the show was Andrea, she couldn't do enough for us and treated my son and me like friends she'd known for ages. There was a small charge for parking but it was plentiful and secure so no problems there. So landy show all day Saturday and the England Norway game in the evening after a very agreeable steak. I'd certainly do it again, many thanks for a lovely break people."

"First time we have stayed and will definitely be going back, large clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, food really nice. However! If the football is on and you want to watch it in a calm , nice environment this really isn't the place, its brilliant for football lovers, it was wall to wall people inside and out, it was a fight to get back to our room ! I loved the atmosphere! Felt sorry for the staff as they didnt know where to start . All in all a lovely hotel, lovely food, beautiful views and comfy rooms"

"Had a great one night stay in two double rooms. Plenty of parking. Warm and welcoming staff. Great food and service in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and in the bar and outside terrace area. Used the gym which is small but well equipped. Overall an enjoyable stay and will go again."

"We arrived at the hotel early evening and the staff were polite and friendly. They requested about the purpose of our stay and on telling them we were there for an event offered us an upgrade on our room. The room provided was spacious with a large comfortable bed - though it was quite high! We also had breakfast booked for the morning and there was plenty of choice for both of us - I had a cooked breakfast, while my wife opted for continental - both options were freshly prepared. All in all, I would definitely stay there again. The outside area of the bar is a delight and gives you the feeling of being in southern Europe rather than the UK!"
