This seemed to reflect the contrast in Casco Viejo, where renovation and gentrification are visible throughout the area. While the surroundings felt unsettling at times, the alley faced a police station, which helped us feel safer. Unfortunately, something in the room triggered severe allergic reactions for both of us. "The neighborhood is completely sketchy. There were people yelling all night until a gun shot around 3:30am. The staff gave no worrying that the neighborhood was not safe but when I went to checkout in the morning the guard was noticeably concerned. Don’t stay here unless you plan to take a taxi straight there and plan to leave via taxi without going out in the neighborhood. You won’t sleep well with the noise outside"

"Well maintained and stocked apartment with wonderful ocean views. However, communication with the owner/manager left a lot to be desired. When I entered the apartment, I noticed that the bedroom was missing its television. I reached out, and received a fairly speedy, friendly response from my host that s/he would hasten to install a tv in the bedroom - sadly, the host went eternally silent and there was no subsequent follow-up. This was a little disappointing. Otherwise, a great place to unwind...

"It was a good stay with the exception of there was not a microwave in the room or non accessible in the hotel for use which caused alot of wastage of food.The maid service was not good as they never emptied the trash and some days I had no service when I requested that needs to be improved Also it was at times noisy you can hear traffic all hours of the night"
