"This is a budget hotel that did not seem like one. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby had a beautiful aquarium full of tropical fish kept up by a staff member who maintains aquariums as a second job. The room was functional, well lit, clean, in good condition, and had the basic amenities that we needed. The breakfast was excellent for a budget hotel, having a wider variety of options than others, and the woman who tended the kitchen was very friendly while doing an excellent job of managing her area. Parking was free and spaces were available near the closest door to our room. We arrived during a fierce storm with 60 mph winds and heavy rain, so the satellite TV service wasn't functioning well. That was of little consequence, however, as the Internet service was very good and that was what we really needed. Overall, we were impressed and had our best hotel experience of a summer in which we travelled by car more than 8000 miles, literally coast to coast. It was also the least expensive hotel we stayed in."
