This is my own personal experience of Country Country. I didn’t think the staff went above and beyond. The rooms were not as clean with spider webs everywhere. We asked for two blankets multiple times and never got them. Beach towels weren’t readily available when one was soiled. I really wanted to experience prior reviews. But that just didn’t happen. Food was mediocre. Our server was very nice when we did eat there for breakfast. The menu did not reflect what they had. The stay was worth it for the beach access and the stores around like Hi Lo. I feel like no one tried to make us feel welcomed. I won’t stay here again as I’ve experienced other hotels on 7 mile that are a lot more dedicated to their guests. Was pretty disappointed. My Son was told he couldn’t dig on the sand. He’s a kid and that’s what kids do on a beach. Maybe add some signs no digging is allowed. Other properties gad kids digging on the sand and have a great time. I felt like we were walking in egg shells.

Fantastic place for the beach and the rooms were ideal. It is situated perfectly in the middle so you can explore on the beach or on the street. Some fabulous restaurants around.

Super cool hidden gem in the jungle-beach. All the staff were friendly and kind. The room was clean and the whole place is very “country, off the beaten path quaint” the bed was very firm. Overall very peaceful stay. We would mention if you can get a room closer to water it would be nicer than the road (cars and motorcycles) noise. Breakfast was included with our room and we always had more than enough food There is a store across the road and several places to walk to for meals. Great beach to walk on and swimming was very nice

We stayed 5 nights in a cute single cottage. We’re a couple in our 30s, and most guests were a mix of friendly retirees and families, many of them regulars who come back every year and we understand why! We loved it — the cottage was colorful, comfortable, and had a nice patio. The property itself is beautiful, with plants everywhere, and the complimentary breakfast is just as delicious as other reviews mention. The place is small enough that it never feels crowded, and there are always enough lounge chairs and space for everyone. There’s also a grocery store conveniently located right across the street. We would definitely stay again!

Country Country is one of my favourite places to stay in Negril because the hotel has a beautiful calm, earthy energy with a charming cottage-style layout that makes you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. It’s the perfect place if you appreciate a peaceful, nature-inspired atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and accommodating throughout my stay. I’m giving this stay 4 out of 5 stars only because the property could benefit from some light refurbishing such as simple interior repainting and refreshing the bamboo furniture with sanding and restaining would elevate the look while still preserving the natural aesthetic. Overall, a wonderful stay with a unique, tranquil vibe. I would definitely return. 🇯🇲🌸

The staff was welcoming like family we’ve never known. They knew our names from the beginning and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and welcome. The room was beautiful, charming and cozy. The beach wasn’t tons of chairs of packed tourists but a dozen of friendly tourists who would save chairs for each other or buy a Jamaican patty for another as one walked in. I would come again and again here!

County Country was a wonderful surprise and an absolute pleasure to stay at. From the moment we arrived, the difference in care, cleanliness, and service was immediately noticeable. The property is gated and has visible security, including security at the beach, which made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Upon arrival, a bellhop took our bags directly to our room, and we were checked in about 30 minutes early. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and peaceful. Everything feels clean and thoughtfully cared for. Our room was especially impressive. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and incredibly functional. We had a tea kettle, coffee pot with coffee and tea provided, a refrigerator, a beautiful bathroom, a closet, a luggage rack, a dresser, and additional shelving for storage. It made a multi-day stay comfortable and easy, with plenty of space to unpack and feel settled. Overall, Country Country offers excellent value, comfort, and service. It exceeded our expectations in every way and felt far above what you’d expect for its rating. I would absolutely stay here again and would confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Negril who wants a clean, safe, well-run property with great staff and a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay so much that we already rebooked for April 2026 and plan on making this our place to stay on 7 mile beach whenever we return back to Negril!

The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We only at breakfast at Country Country,which was delicious, but I can not speak to the food for other meals. We love the quaintness of Country Country and the accessibility to the rest of 7 mile beach. The Hi-Lo right across the street was an added bonus for purchasing extra water, drinks and snacks.

What a wonderful hotel! I loved the way the hotel has such a tropical feel. Great location on 7 mile, right across from the grocery store. The staff are soooo friendly and lovely!
