"I can over look most of the issues buildings will inevitably have but paper thin walls in a hotel are rough... also if anyone checks in with kids they should get the lower level, not sure if it was a circus act in the room above us or if they were rearranging furniture for 30 straight minutes but i wanted a karen to knock on their door the whole time.
Facility wise, i liked the size of the room (put a couch in the king bed rooms... no where to sit), the bed was so comfy and the pool/hot tub...
"The OU in is my favorite hotel!!! Their updates are so nice the rooms are always clean the staff is always helpful and friendly! The outdoor spaces are gorgeous and so fun to relax in! They’ve even thought of all the little touches like a water bottle filler in the lobby! We’ll be back again next year! "
"My brother and I got a room on the second floor with two queen beds. I had read many good reviews but was a little skeptical because of the price. When we walked up the stairs and I saw the porch floor was plywood, I was still a little skeptical. But when we got in the room, it was so nice! You could tell it had been fully renovated. It was neat and clean and looked brand new. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. I wish I could find a little motel like this to...

"The common area was very dirty, grills filthy, kitchen full of mice turds, suggest storing everything in plastic totes a lids.. pots and pans very gross, clean the whole place. The cabin was nice but outdoor chairs filthy .. had to use common area to cook , no kitchen in cabin "
"Upon arrival we were so blown away by the beauty of the cabin we decided to inquire and book an extra night as 2 nights just would not be enough time. We spent our first night soaking in each other and soaking in the hot tub. Day 2 we visited the sauna pods and booked a professional photography session which lead to a proposal! Then we enjoyed a unique romantic dinner at Glenlaurel (it’s a must try). Our last day was filled with hiking, visiting the Hocking hills winery, deer watching, sitting...
"I thought the beach theme was a bit strange for the area but, it works! It was clean and staff was great! My only issue was the water quality. It tasted like pool water. Since people are likely going on hikes or some long all day activities, its a good idea to have a water cooler for the guests. Until then, byo water. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend this hotel."
