"A stream runs thru the property… so lovely. Parking is crowded but sufficient. We did not need the heater but there were no instructions for how to operate it. I found out by accident there is parking in the rear. Knowing that in advance would have prevented my companion, who uses a cane, from walking up the stairs. The room was clean but there is some discoloration (rust?) in the tub surround. We had a bad experience with the coffee machine- it only worked for the 12 cup setting& the cup will not hold 12 oz so hot coffee spilled everywhere. No one got burned thankfully."

"we enjoyed the lodging and the stay! i should have said something at checkin about stairs but we made it work! we were happy with the facility and only thing i might change was moving the bed one foot from the window to allow easier entry and exit to that side."

"Lovely secluded small Hotel, very clean with charming rooms, wonderful fire pits and overlooking the river. We could not have asked for more and on top of it, it’s only a mile from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Staff were very helpful and the bed very comfortable."

"The hotel is old. It’s clean but just old. If you expect something modern, this isn’t the one. We liked the location, it’s easy to get to Rocky Mountains. The restaurants in the hotels are pricing. It’s probably better to go to the town for dinner."

"The guy at the reception desk with his dog was fantastic, he had some great tips for viewing wildlife. Loved sitting out in our deck and listening to the river. It’s a great spot that is close to RMNP but also close to Estes Park. We would come back for sure."

"It was a lovely room with a balcony that was generously sized. The room was clean and the linens were soft and comfortable. Nice location, easy to find. Friendly staff. Would stay there again!"

"The room was clean ok. We had three light bulbs out so very dark. Our curtains barely hung on the rod. A small garbage can only. Furniture was broken I’d say we were in the less updated"
