"Exceptional property, luxurious rooms and professional, gracious service. My daughter got sick on a holiday weekend and the staff managed to find a physician to come to the room to treat her. They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and special for us. The room was well appointed and always cleaned or turned down in an inviting way. They have a firepit and rocking chairs out in the cloister area - which was very charming and decorated for the festive holiday season."

"The Hotel San Francesco is a beautiful property located across the main drive in Maiori from the bay. Our room was large and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. I would suggest a room with view of the Mediterranean Sea on the 3rd floor or higher. The staff are professional and friendly and there are many excellent restaurants in walking distance. The main beach view street in Maiori is absolutely charming and the water taxi service to Amalfi is super fun and runs like clockwork. We highly...

"Room is a bit small, but balcony is very spacious with a nice view over the sea/beach. Bathroom is tiny, hardly can move around. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did not do a good job, did not replenish the daily mineral water to my room. Food is very good at the Adamo & Eve."

"This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water. "The front desk staff were super responsive, helped arrange transport to the airport. The continental breakfast was very nice and the expresso coffees were great. The terrace restaurant was nice for dinner overlooking the ocean. Used the gym downstairs once, big gym lots of good equipment but a little dirty around the floors which was not to my standards for a gym. Did not use the indoor pool but it looked amazing. "

"The property was beautiful. Wonderful lobby and excellent room. Wonderful views of Vesuvius. The grounds have numerous orange trees and we got fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast. We did not utilize the pool or spa and spent our days seeing the ruins of Herculaneum, Oplontis, Villa San Marco, and Villa San Ariana. Wee hadd seen Pompeii before. We also travelled to Naples and saw the docks, saw the Duomo, and saw the amazing MANN (MUSEO ARCHEALOGICA NATIONALE NAPLES`0."
