"It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords."

"I really enjoyed staying here. I was on a top floor facing the fjord and even though the room was small it was perfect for me. I never had a problem accessing the bathroom and I even got to do some laundry. There was a good camaraderie among the guests and the location was convenient to good hiking and good eating. If you are a light sleeper I suggest buying a small travel noise machine. This thing has saved my sleep on so many trips. When you’re in a guest house or a small old hotel, you tend...

"The property was clean and quiet. Beautiful surroundings with easy access to the road. It has a few restaurants close by with the delicious food. There is some construction going on around the apartment ( we stayed in mid June 2025). We were not bothered by noise though."
