"Short two day stay to visit town and surrounding area. Excellent location, polite helpful staff and an excellent cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again"

"Loved the hotel and the staff were fantastic. Also very nice touch with the freezer at reception allowing the guests to grab complimentary ice lollies and ice whenever they needed it in this current heat wave. The only slight niggle I had was the extra £10 charge to use the swimming pool which could do with a bit of a spruce up. The hotel is wonderful though and will definitely stay again but probably wouldn’t bother with the Spa. The town is also beautiful so the hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy all the local amenities."

"Stayed for one night while travelling around Wales and surrounding area. Can't fault the service or room booked. Room was very warm with only a small table fan provided. The room was directly above the pub, so very lound and noisey with the football on. The food served was very nice and 10% off 👍 I would recommend if staying in the town centre."

"Great location very helpful staff. The only issue I had was with the shower in the bathroom the riser rail kept slipping down the water was extremely hard to regulate either really hot or stone cold. We only stayed the one night so did not complain about it but I heard many of the other guests talking about the same thing. I would say that the problem is probably down to the valve in the shower control not working correctly. Being able to have a refreshing shower after travelling or before leaving is one of the thing's that make a stay either good or bad other than that it is a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay there again."

"Great hotel, food was good. We were group of ten walkers and the staff were very accommodating. Oswestry could be a lovely town to visit, interesting bi buildings and the castle. We would not visit again it’s obvious that the place was been invaded with Eastern Europeans. Loads of the “money” making Turkish barber and the usual vap shops everywhere. The council need to get on top of this. Feel sorry for the legitimate businesses."
