We had a standard double room which was a tad small for 2 people. The bathroom is a little tired but the shower was amazing so made up for this. There is no wardrobe for hanging clothes only 4 hooks on the wall! Not very effective. Tea and coffee with biscuits are provided which is a nice touch.

Nice place with car park at the rear 10 minute walk into the town of shrewsbury. Good food served at the yak and yeti good selection of beers and wine good friendly staff worth a visit.

Lovely room. Great breakfast, although would have preferred to just say what I’d like, rather than the have the full English breakfast. We don’t eat massive meals so was a bit of a waste. Although it was nicely presented, and no doubt, enjoyed by everyone

Generally I would recommend this property. The room was small and had a strong smell. But the restaurant was great and it was a convenient location.

We didn't have breakfast but ate in the restaurant on the evening where the food and service was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and staff very helpful and attentive

Parking behind the pub was easy. I had one of the motel-style rooms above the car park, which was adequate although fairly small and rather chilly - the heating didn't seem to be on. A slightly strange headboard arrangement made it difficult to switch the reading lamps on or off, and as the room was only slightly wider than the bed there were no bedside tables. The bathroom smelled strongly of air freshener or some similar fragrance which was rather overpowering. Tea and coffee facilities provided though, and it provided me with a bed for the night at a decent price.

Spacious and cosy room. Lovely selection of drinks and biscuits. Very clean and pleasant. Great location for exploring Shrewsbury. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Was very pleased with accommodation and food. Biggest disappointment was the black mold on the shower curtain that needs replacing. Otherwise great place to stay and I will recommend it.

Good location, short walk into the centre. It has parking at the rear, although it could be a little tight if full. Only one word to describe the staff: AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, a little on the small side, but it wasn’t an issue; the shower had good water pressure. We didn’t eat at the restaurant for an evening meal as we went into Shrewsbury, but the menu looked good and the food smelt great. Breakfast was 1st class, a large full English with fresh orange juice and a good pot of tea.

Lovely, comfortable & clean Hotel

A nice clean comfortable room 5 mins walk from the center of Shrewsbury. The staff are fantastic, so helpful, smiley and friendly and the food was fantastic, all our meals tasted very freshly prepared and cooked.

Staff were extremely helpful when I needed to alter the booking at very short notice. Room was rather hot but there was a fan provided. Plentiful tea/coffee supplied. Bathroom could do with some attention. Shower head leaked and wouldn't stay in position which meant that it needed to be held throughout it's use.

Yak & Yeti

Nice bedroom, tiles in bathroom need updating, a new shower curtain required and the bathroom fan would appreciate a clean.The staff are very polite,and excellent service from all concerned.The full English breakfast was very good and filling but not sure if there was an alternative choice. Four of us ate there one evening and the food could not be faulted,Accommodation is a few minutes walk to the river and edge of town,Shrewsbury is a beautiful town and full of independent shops,we would highly recommend a stay at Yak &Yeti.
