"Nicely painted room #16 with dormer window looking out to sea and ferry. Unfortunately the hotel WiFi doesn't reach to this room, but you can access it from the lobby area. Note that the toilet seat slips off and needs some fixing."

"The staff at the Brit were extremely welcoming and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed we were not able to have a hot drink in the room. Despite there being a kettle and tea/coffee they only provided small shot glasses for drinks which was extremely odd! There was also no fridge in the room which we needed to keep milk for our baby. "

"This is a very comfortable hotel. We stayed a second time as a couple, to use as a base to visit WW2 sites. Ideal. The staff are very welcoming. Great breakfast available, evening meal if requested. Bar. Near the sea with several restaurants near by, check opening times out of season. Highly recommended."
