Wifi was absolute garbage, and the first room I had was infested with cockroaches. The staff was kind enough though to let me switch rooms so there's that.

Wingate by Wyndham New Braunfels
Right away I noticed construction worker cars in the parking lot and workers staying inside. I saw no families. I asked Tiffany at the front desk and she did tell me most people who stay are construction workers. From the outside it looks nice. Inside is dated. Staff is nice. Can’t comment on breakfast ...

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels
Had the worst room in the house, by the elevator and fitness room on 1st floor where EVERYONE in the hotel passed by. Literally everyone had to pass this room to access other rooms. BUT - Staff was accommodating in changing room for second night. Overall experience, meh, would NOT recommend.
