"I thought much easyer to use kitchen than other hostel in the city center. supermarket was much near than one in the city center one."

"Clean and tidy room. Best shower I have had in a hotel."

"Spacious"

"Very handy location. Right in the city. Cheapest way to get there from the airport take Bus 8 only $3 and get off at Hereford St. Only 1 min walk."

"Such a lovely stay. Clean tidy and very quiet. Beautifully decorated. Modern fresh clean feel woth everything you need. Washing machine and dryer. Iron. Heaps of space. Warm, dark curtains. Spacious. Lovely owner and super relaxed setting. Will def stay again!"

"nice spot central friendly staff would recommend"

"This is the place to stay in Christchurch. This is an historic building with a lot of character. The location is right across the street from the botanical garden and a short walk from the Riverside Market. The lobby has a very nice sitting area with tea and coffee available. If you cannot deal with stairs, there are different levels and you may have to see if there are rooms available that have no stairs"

"Lovely property"

"Fantastic, clean, centrally located property that is above-average in amenities/value for the price."

"I stayed on the bottom floor. My room was nice, recently updated, great bed and bathroom. But unfortunately I could hear a lot of noise from upstairs (water in the pipes, movement etc) as well as street noise which made it difficult to go to sleep. I recommend asking for a room on the top floor. Be aware there is limited on site parking. There is street parking but there are time limits during the week."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Location is close to everything within walking distance."

"This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. "

"Staff where awesome very helpful and kol to chat with. Sadly a group came in and they messed up the bathroom and showers up stairs. It was very stressful for the staff and other guests. The children where noisy and the group guests ip all night and morning they where very noisy. But the venue was kol and the Staff where awesome. I still recommend the venue to stay at"

"In the middle of the nite there are lots of police car sirens, some drunks talk loudly, and the worst was a couple of drunks fighting loudly and involve police. It was weekend nite though.."
