"We loved Britannia House. The property is truly lovely and the service is very personalized. Tobi, the proprietor, was there to welcome us, cooked us breakfast in the house's kitchen, and gave us great recommendations. The first night we were there, it was very hot, but a simple fan took care of things. "

"If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. My cousin and I loved our stay at Moorhill House!"

"All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. "Such a warm welcome upon our arrival, and such a lovely, homely place to stay! Don't think we've ever stayed in another B&B like it! We really felt like nothing was too much trouble for Alice and Andrew. They even - without our knowing - took the trouble of trying to source egg-free croissants at their local supermarket. Would definitely stay here again!"
