Tia (front desk) was amazing! Our flight from Newark was delayed multiple times and after more than six hours, was cancelled. Having to rebook a flight for the following day in Philadelphia, finding a friend willing to drive almost two hours to Philadelphia, booking a hotel for the night, and missing 2 prepaid events in New Orleans added to a stressful 24 hours. I contacted the hotel notifying them of the situation and was happy to have Tia be on the other line. Her empathy, warm presence and helpful attitude meant so much to us. As for the hotel - very clean and wonderful amenities. Would definitely return again during our next trip to New Orleans.

We absolutely loved our stay at the property.The location is very convenient.Valet parking was awesome.Everything from the complimentary Jazz to the restaurants were very good.We were there for the fourth of July and that was the highlight with fireworks from the rooftop .The only drawback is the rooms are a bit tiny and not much storage available.

Best staff and brand new amazing rooftop pool and viewing deck in town! Great location- Room room and bathroom was a bit small. Courtyard could use some music or love-all you hear is kitchen fans. But its very well maintained! I'd get a bigger room and balcony facing the street next time. However, I wouldn't stay anywhere else! THE POOL MADE THE TRIP! See you soon!

My first room had a broken TV and a terrible view to a parking lot although I booked a luxury room. They moved me to another room w a city view but the AC was not working properly….maintenance people came to fix it but it didn’t work .. finally they gave me a fan which helped cooling down the room temperature.. the front desk staff was outstanding but the rooms look poor and the carpet needs replacing .. the restaurants and the lobby is beautiful.. friendly staff !!

Our stay at the Omni Royal New Orleans was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered an early check-in, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The front desk team and bell staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, providing outstanding service throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. The location couldn’t be better!! Right on the pedestrian mall and just a short walk to the Riverwalk, Bourbon Street, the French Market, and the original Café du Monde. Everything we wanted to see and experience was within easy walking distance. If you’re looking for a hotel with outstanding hospitality, a charming atmosphere, and the perfect location to explore New Orleans, I highly recommend the Omni Royal New Orleans. This was a very nice hotel and the staff were top notch. When in NOLA, this is now where we will stay. Only flaw, our room did not have a microwave.

My stay at the Omni Hotel was just okay. The location was excellent and very convenient, especially for attending Essence Fest and exploring the surrounding area. That said, there were several things that left me disappointed. The rooms are dated and could definitely use a refresh. On the morning of my checkout, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:00 a.m., which woke me up well before I was ready to get up. I was also surprised and disappointed to see artwork featuring the Confederate flag displayed in the lobby. During a weekend when so many Black guests were visiting to celebrate Essence Fest, I found it to be insensitive and triggering. Hotels should strive to create a welcoming environment for all guests, and this display did not reflect that. While the location is a major advantage, my overall experience did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I won't be staying here again.

We booked two rooms both on the second floor. One room was very cool. The other room was the hottest room I’ve ever stayed in. Front desk was notified first day. We received no follow up. Hallway was cooler than room 220.
