When I had booked online, I specifically booked because the room was advertised as being purple, which is my favorite color and was the theme of our trip. Arrived to find that we had an orange room with a dirty shower. The balcony overlooking the street was what I feel the only amenity that matched the description. Was pretty close to the nightlife. Would I go there again probably not.

This quaint private hotel has great rooms with old time but updated charm & amenities. Love the balconies that over look the pool. They are each private so you can leave doors open & be as free as you want.

I stayed here 7 here’s ago for my birthday and I came back for my birthday. I do wish I had a balcony but it’s ok. It gave me the classic New Orleans vibe just as it did the first time. It’s an old building so don’t expect it to be extravagant, if you’re looking for a true New Orleans stay this is the place to be. Very simple, quiet and relaxing. Very close to Jackson square, bourbon and just about everything else.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The room was dirty, old cups and cans under the bed. Mold everywhere. Lights didn't work. TV didn't work. I asked for a partial refund. They asked for proof. I submitted pictures and followed up a couple times. But never received anything. Pay the extra money to stay elsewhere. This was truly a bad experience.

Very nice, clean and super secure location was perfect nearby parking. The only downside was there was no microwave or ice machine available, but I would still definitely recommend and would book again in the future.

While the hotel itself was great, the location is not. We had a street side balcony room, which may have been the issue. The omni royal hotel is across the street and they had their dumpsters emptied at 4 am. The hotel is also between restaurants and they get their food deliveries early in the AM. We bought earplugs so it was fine, but just be aware that it is LOUD. Everything else was great

We were on the 3rd floor had extremely heavy suitcases and were not aware of no elevator. We had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with our suitcases. The building is very old. Chipped wood and rusted metals inside the rooms. Our main light did not work. I would not recommend for comfort but if you love 3 min walking distance to everything in the French Quarter it’s ok

Fantastic stay! Loved the pool and the HUGE rooms!! Pool area and front awning need some TLC, curtains in the room would have been nice, but the location and large rooms were amazing!!!

If you’re a female solo traveler like myself please book another “hotel”! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! This place is terrible! First it’s not a hotel and it’s an Airbnb vibe so be aware of that prior to booking. That means there’s not any staff on site! No front desk, no security (my intuition was firing off), no readily available housekeeping. Also there’s no elevator I had to drag my 60lb luggage up two flights of steps and damaged the wheels on my new luggage. The “hotel” is beyond filthy. My room smelled like an old, wet, moldy basement. The rug was soooooo dirty, the shower was not clean and the cleaning staff has NEVER cleaned the shower glass because there was so much grime on them, there was food left over in the fridge from the previous party, and I didn’t feel safe AT ALL. Oh and there’s absolutely no refunds! Getting a hold of someone in customer service is a headache! However once I did get a hold of someone I was placed in a different hotel on Canal street. It was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better! I had to suggest that the customer service it was not offered. They wouldn’t issue a refund even with the photos I sent. Booking this particular room and the experience was a total and absolute nightmare.

The room was very nice. The ice maker did not work. I dislike not having a receptionist. If you needed towels there was no one to talk to at all. Everything is done over the phone, which I don’t like.

Me gustó mucho ya que te encuentras en el punto medio de todo, al lado una farmacia muy antigua, a 2 cuadras la farrearía y su plaza principal, 1 cuadra la calle Royal y 2 la bourbon
