We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the Valet parking attendant who immediately assisted us with the luggage transfer from the trunk to a luggage cart. We then proceeded to check in while he parked the car. Check in was a breeze and we were given 2 little goody bags containing a small bottle of water and a bag of shortcake cookies in each.
The room was surprisingly large and very well laid out. The bathroom was large and had adequate towels and space to put toiletries.
The room itself had a very comfortable king size bed, a desk and 2 additional seats. Everything was very clean and conveniently located just 2 blocks from the Saenger Theater on the corner on Burgandy and Canal in the French Quarters and walking distance to the world famous Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and all of the famous French Quarter attractions .
Valet parking is a little pricey at $52 per overnight . I feel as though a discount could be offered to customers staying overnight. However, we will be staying again here due to the close & safe proximity to the French Quarter and the spaciousness and newness of the rooms. Some of the hotels inside of the French Quarter are old, small rooms , have outdated facilities and are noisy. The lobby of this hotel needs a little updating but the rooms are perfect.
