I visited the hotel the day before my stay and asked the front desk if I could do an early check-in if I arrived a bit earlier than the official time. The receptionist told me that it would be possible as long as a room was available. The next day I arrived about two hours early, but when I asked, they said my room was not ready and that I had to wait.
I agreed, left my luggage, parked the car, and came back around 2:30 p.m. to ask again if my room was ready. This time they told me that my room had been given to someone else, so I would have to keep waiting. Since the regular check‑in time was 3:00 p.m., they made me wait until 2:59 and only checked me in exactly at 3:00 p.m.
It was very clear to me that the receptionist was being deliberately unhelpful and petty. I was kept waiting for hours with my children, even though the room was available and had been given to another guest, and then my new room was held back until the last possible minute. I am leaving this hotel extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at the front desk.
