The rooms were lovely. There was a ton of cozy spaces to spend time. The breakfast was good, but did not have many options for gluten-free folks.

Comfortable, super well located, lovely surprise that there was a refrigerator and microwave in our beautiful room. Breakfast was good and the porch/patio eating area delightful. Innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed being able to walk around downtown and neighborhood, lots of choices of places to eat. We did have a car but it is easy walking access to New Jersey transit

Lovely home turned Inn. Had the pleasure of meeting the caretaker and talking with him regarding the history of the home. Which was very informative. The area was quiet and beautiful and met my needs for my 3 day stay.

Summit is a nice upscale "North Eastern" town, with a very walkable downtown. The DeBary Inn is a large charming old house, on a nice lot, within a 5 minute gentle walk to downtown cafes and restaurants. We chose a large room which was very comfortable. The bathroom could use a newer and better shower head, and the toiletries were very low-end. The continental breakfast was minimal. There was no coffee/tea in the room, but there was a refrigerator and a microwave oven. There is a single serve coffee machine available all the time at the breakfast room. There is no elevator, and there are rooms on the 3rd floor. We had a good deal through Expedia, so I may be nit picking a bit. If in the general area again, I would consider staying here.

The home is a beautiful historical home. The accommodations were everything we needed. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Sitting out on the porch was so peaceful and serene. The area is residential and very quiet. I loved we could get a cup of tea or coffee complimentary throughout the day. We were within walking distance of great restaurants and a beautiful downtown area. The home had so much character and great sitting areas which is something I love as opposed to a modern hotel.

A quaint and charming inn, in town and walkable to restaurants. Attractive and historic. We loved the dining room and the outdoor porch seating. The bedroom was surprisingly spacious. Free onsite parking was appreciated, but was tight and made for nervous maneuvering. In winter I would be concerned, but perhaps the innkeepers manage it well. Being a very old structure, the inn has some sloping floors. This might be an issue for accessibility or older visitors. Air conditioning was acceptable but a bit weak, due to the older nature of the building.

The DeBary Inn is a beautiful property. Our room was very comfortable, and the location was great. We enjoyed walking to the main shopping and restaurant area which is a few blocks away. The Inn is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again.

Looks like a common house. Breakfast was average. When the staff was present, they were helpful but most of the time they were not visible. Room was very small - bed + toilet. Email response was quick.

The Inn is very nice however I was charged total different amount than what I booked the room for without any notice I will contact my bank it is not what I booked the room for and I even have proof so I just want the issue to be resolved as soon as possible

Beautiful Historical property with a large common area. We had the room on the first floor and the FIFA Brazil Fans in the house and it was quiet! Our family lives locally and we will stay here again if needed.

In town for the weekend visiting old friends. This is an old home on the edge of downtown Summit converted to a peaceful and well kept Inn. Check in and out is easy, with a code issued for 24 hr access to the front door. Nothing really special about the continental breakfast, but it's served in a vintage main floor area with access for an outdoor porch. It is within walking distance of dining options downtown, including the iconic Summit Diner. It's a great option if Summit is your destination. My room was clean and spacious, the bed comfy and the bathroom room was clean and well stocked. Do keep in mind, this is an old converted home, so all the rooms are a little different and not without their minor design quirks, as opposed to a brand new hotel meticulously designed with the modern traveler in mind. But, I found it very charming, quiet and restful, which was perfect for me.

Conveniently located for business. It’s nice to be able to walk to downtown Summit to shop or dine. It’s a nice hotel, but starting to show its age a little bit. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way, door handle to the room, like it was gonna come off in my hand, and paint and trim are starting to look a little chipped and faded. Still, definitely worth the money and was a pleasant overnight stay.
